ATLANTIC CITY SURF HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR SPLASH PERFORMERS

Atlantic City, NJ  – The Atlantic City Surf is looking for individuals interested in performing as Splash the Mascot for the 2008 season.

The Surf is looking for individuals who enjoy entertaining crowds and participating in many community events throughout the year.

The job requires creativity, the generation of leads for appearances, and the individuals hired will need to be responsible for the care of the mascot suit. The mascot performers report to the Community Relations department.

The Surf is looking for individuals who are 18 years or older and candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to appearances. Availability during daytime hours is preferred but not necessary.

GROUNDS CREW INTERNSHIP

The Atlantic City Surf are looking for interns who would like to help with the team's grounds crew. The job includes turf maintenance, infield skin maintenance including mounds and plates, playing field and bullpens. It also includes warning track and rain situations, mowing and trimming to keep up with appearance.

FRONT-OFFICE INTERNSHIP

Internships with the Surf run from May to September. All interns will learn about the business of minor-league Baseball and the sports industry by helping the Surf in all aspects of our business. An internship with the Surf gives an opportunity to learn about:
